COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is a three years, U.G.C. approved course in Media, Graphics & Animation. This
course is equivalent to any other Degree course offered by various colleges. Here a student
completes his graduation in an industry where he finally would want to work. As this course is
more practical than theory, it is ideal for students who want to pursue further studies in creative
industries. By simply doing a B.A, B. Com, or B.Sc., a student still has to give few more years to
actually get into career courses. This course is thus the ideal platform for a student to get a govt.
recognized Degree as well as prepare for his career at the 12th std. level itself

Also, in addition to the syllabus prescribed by the university, MIDDS offers many other modules
which it deems as necessary from the industry point of view. MIDDS makes the student industry
ready as he needs to work in the industry itself. The course syllabus mentioned below is a
combination of both.

ELIGIBILITY: 12th std. passed

An Entrance/Creativity test is conducted at the institute this course. This exam tests your
creativity, general intelligence, your basic drawing & sketching skills and your aptitude.

After this, we register you as a student. The registration charges are Rs.1000

He needs to submit 3 photographs, his 10th & 12th std mark sheet and passing certificates.

Exams shall be conducted in the month of May by the university at the centers prescribed by

FINAL OUT PUT OF STUDENTS:

As this course covers 2D as well as 3D, students can start procuring work even after 6-8 months
as a graphic designer or web banner designer.

At the end of the course, all students make at least one show reel which is a show case of their
work. This reel is made, compiled, edited and presented by the student himself. Even the
background sound and dialogues are done by the student. He thus actually makes an animated
film. A film is not accepted by the institute unless it is of a minimum standard, thus ensuring that
every student entering the job market is equipped with a show reel of acceptable quality.

Many students make up to 3-4 midway films also during the tenure..
