The transaction focused on geographical expansion, acquiring more market share and ensuring leadership position

Mumbai, Feb 15th, 2011 : Frameboxx animation, a well known name in animation and visual effects today announced the acquisition of Meteor institute of digital design studies (MIDDS), the education arm of Meteor Group of Mumbai. MIDDS provides courses in design disciplines of 3D, 2D design, Animation, Multimedia, and Game Development Technology. Following the acquisition, MIDDS will operate under the banner of Frameboxx animation and visual effects. Mr. Satyam Bansal, CEO, MIDDS, is a seasoned professional and entrepreneur who scaled up the company to a pan India presence and pioneered VSAT based distance learning in animation through a tie-up with TATA Nelco. He has also worked with Universal Pictures in Hollywood on international distribution of films like HULK and SEABISCUIT.
