How it works.

Typical course progression for a MIDDS' Distance learning student
Chetan is a student at MIDDS' Distance Learning program.
Step 1: When he enrolls for the class, he gets the MIDDS' WELCOME KIT. The KIT gives him the progress chart and curriculum for the entire year. Chetan also gets an account on MIDDS website that gives him access to his personal webpage and an email account.
Step 2: From then on, Chetan receives Video CDs/DVDs for classes every 15 days along with CDs of guest lectures conducted at MIDDS by various industry and academic professionals.
Step 3: He also receives regular homework/project assignments to be submitted on time. The student sends the storyboard, data source file as well as the final rendered output in the specified resolution. This is then evaluated by the faculty and the detailed feedback is sent to the student.
Step 4: All his submitted work is posted on the student login area on the MIDDS' website. Also his grades and scores are posted on his password protected student area which he can access at his convenience.
Step 5: Chetan also visits the Mumbai center twice during his curriculum to take on-site tests, once during the course of study and once for a final.
Step 6: Chetan receives a Distance program diploma/certification from MIDDS, a brand affiliated to govt. of India institutes.
Chetan is also given following additional facilities:
One online teaching session every month with a MIDDS faculty. One telephone session every 15 days with a MIDDS faculty to solve his doubts. He can also email the faculty as many times as he likes and get his doubts cleared.
For the FILM ANIMATION program, the student can also choose to spend 3 months at MIDDS center to prepare a show-reel for an additional fee.
